This Fall, Canopy NWA anticipates an increase of arriving refuges and we’re asking for your support to help make a significant difference in helping them rebuild their lives here in NWA.
The best way to do this is through Welcome Kits!
What is a Welcome Kit?
Welcome Kits provide all the necessities that make a house a home.
Categorized, created, and distributed with the help of volunteers, Welcome Kits begin the work of The Long Welcome as a community. These kits have been categorized by needs (i.e. Bedroom Kits, Bathroom Kits, Kitchen Kits, etc.) and must be made of new items.
Building a Welcome Kit
Select a kit from the following list, and then place the items in a plastic tub, labeling the top with the category, and include a hand-written, unsealed note welcoming the family. Your generosity will be a wonderful contribution in welcoming refugees to NWA.
After items have been put together in a plastic tub, the Welcome Kits can be delivered to one of the following Canopy offices, or partnered drop off locations as listed below.
