Case Management

A core facet of Canopy’s resettlement assistance is our wrap-around case management.

Navigating Systems

Canopy Case Managers work alongside new arrivals to orient them to their new surroundings. This includes how to navigate local transportation, healthcare, and the school system.

Community volunteers help with this!

Members of this team will work closely with the case management team.

Cultural Orientation

Canopy provides intensive cultural orientation to help facilitate clients’ integration into the community and provide them with tools to become successful workers, neighbors and citizens.

Adjusting to NWA

Through wrap-around case management, Canopy helps all households adjust to their new community.

Join us as a Client Services Volunteer

As a Client Services Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to help Canopy through:

+ Working alongside case managers to provide administrative support for refugees. This includes filling out important public benefit documents.

+ Providing transportation for clients to improve their economic or educational success. This includes transportation to job interviews, medical appointments, parent-teacher conferences, and the Social Security office.

+ Providing childcare to clients in need of short-term sporadic relief, especially when clients are attending appointments pertinent to their economic or educational development.
