Through Canopy’s Plan It! entrepreneurship program we offer tailor-made, high-quality, low-cost entrepreneurship training and business services to startup business of refugees and immigrants in the community.

English language acquisition
Entrepreneurship support and micro-enterprise funding
Asset building
We have assisted more than 20 entrepreneurs in their journey to starting their businesses here in NWA.
Entrepreneur Training, Loan Assistance, Business Services, Technical Assistance, and Real Estate Assistance, these entrepreneurs have started businesses that are incredibly valuable to the NWA community.
Through Career Pathways, Canopy is able to offer Certification Programs in various areas, including certification programs such as:
Certified Nurse Assistant, Commercial Driving License, Phlebotomy, HVAC, Financial Literacy Certification, Driving License Assistance
Through our NAC Program, we serve new neighbors in our community who are interested in career training, advancement, or change. We partner with local businesses to provide mentorships, job shadowing, and/or advanced training at a free or reduced cost. The Canopy team provides: Assistance with individualized career plans, Monthly check-ins, Mentoring & On-the-job training.
Canopy promotes financial literacy through educational workshops, including topics on:
Banking
Budgeting
Building credit
Through community partnerships, Canopy also offers a Financial Literacy Certification.
As a part of the Financial Literacy program, Canopy has an Individual Development Account to help clients build assets to achieve financial stability.
