Entrepreneurship Program

As part of Canopy’s Long Welcome, the Entrepreneurship Program is designed to empower refugees and immigrants in Northwest Arkansas by offering tailor-made, high-quality, and low-cost training and business services to those who aspire to start their own businesses.

Career Pathways

This program empowers clients to achieve career advancement through training opportunities and career coaching. Services include resume and cover letter editing, practice interviews, skill assessments, degree evaluations, and job search support. We also connect clients with external community resources including mentorships, job shadowing opportunities, internships, career fairs, and other support networks.

Inspired Hands

“Inspired Hands” is part of Canopy’s Cottage Industry Initiative, providing refugee & immigrant women with the opportunity to achieve economic independence while highlighting their talents and cultural heritage. Participants work from home, creating artisanal food, art, and cultural items. They receive training, resources, and support to generate income by selling their products at local markets and businesses.

This program enriches communities with diverse products while building a sense of connection among the women involved.
