Our vision is to not only meet the basic needs of our new neighbors, but to equip them with the tools to thrive in the NWA community.

Resettlement Assistance

Through the Reception and Placement program, Canopy provides all newly-arriving refugee families with intensive case management and financial support for their first 90 days in the US.

Long Welcome

In order to fulfill our vision of refugees and the community thriving together, it is necessary to do more than just resettle— we need a Long Welcome. That’s what we are working towards. 

Community Engagement

Canopy believes in the power of community and the impact it can have on causes that matter. That’s why we host fundraising events that bring people together in support of meaningful initiatives, including refugee resettlement efforts.

Anti- Trafficking

Canopy NWA’s Anti-Trafficking Program fills a vital gap in Northwest Arkansas. Funded by the
Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), the program combines culturally competent case
management, strategic partnerships, and advocacy to build a trauma-informed, community-wide
response to human trafficking.
