A Message of Gratitude

Celebrating 10 Years of Canopy NWA

Abwe Abedi, a local community leader, Pastor, US citizen, father, and a member of a family who arrived to NWA through Canopy’s refugee resettlement program, shared this message of thanks and congratulations in celebration of Canopy NWA’s 10th Anniversary:

Abwe’s words remind us that resettlement is about so much more than logistics. t’s about finding your place, being treated with dignity, and taking those steady steps to build a life. As Canopy marks ten years, this letter is both a reflection of what has been created together and a call to continue showing up with the same care and commitment. Canopy’s story isn’t finished. It’s still being written, one family, one home, and one act of welcome at a time.
